SchapfenMühle

is a milling firm in Ulm, situated in Southern Germany. Our tradition in flour production goes back to the year 1452. The original mill, situated in the Old Town of Ulm, was almost completely destroyed by a great fire on Whit Sunday in 1983 and after that was re-built in the Jungingen area of the town. This resulted in the first completely computer controlled mill in Germany, which in 1998 was extended with the addition of a high rack storage area. In addition to this, in 2005 the highest silo tower of the world, at a height of 116m, was put into operation.

Today we process a variety of types of cereals into flour, grits and flakes, at our most state of the art production plants. At our plants we pack from 250g bags for food retailing to 25kg and 50kg sacks for bakers. We supply the industry with our own silo vehicles or in big bags.

Alongside the classic mill products we also offer a comprehensive range of premixes and bread improvers for bakery companies.
Our team of experienced experts from the milling and bakery industries also develop mixtures specific to customers’ needs, which are tailored to meet the corresponding requirements of the companies.

Our testing bakery is equipped with the most up-to-date bakery technology.
Exclusive premixes are prepared from our own raw materials, as a convenience blend or as concentrate, according to the wishes of our customers.

A particular speciality of the SchapfenMühle is the processing of spelt to flour, flakes and premixes.

For sale in the retail we are offering an attractive range of cereal products, seeds and premixes in family size packages.

The BioKorn GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2006 for the marketing of cereals and cereal products from organic cultivation. The professional cooperation of the three mills SchapfenMühle (Ulm), Heimatsmühle (Aalen) and Frießinger Mühle (Bad Wimpfen enables a comprehensive range to be offered to our customers from industry and trade.
